I hope that you are well. I am reaching out as Chairman of the Shropshire Squash Club with a quick question.
We have a WhatsApp group, and email mailing list informing people predominently of the activities of the squash club, social events, key dates and general news. To assure you messages are quite infrequent. As well as the squash members the Rackets Membership are included, which are those members playing both squash and tennis.
To be clear the WhatsApp group is only for receiving club information. There is no ability for people on that group to reply - so you don't have to worry about constant pinging of messages, and you can of course mute the group too.
There are only a few just Tennis members, and I wanted to know if you would like to be inlcuded on these groups, and to invite you to try out some squash or racketball as a winter option if it isn't something that you have considered already.
Additionally the committee meet every month, and I in turn meet with the School Facilities team to liaise regarding school and club events and updates, passing on information from members as requested and coming back with updates. As I mentioned earlier, whilst there are members who play tennis, I wanted to make sure that everyone has a voice at the table. So if there is anything that you need bringing to the attention of the schools, I am happy to do so. It would also be good to have some Tennis representation at the table, which we currently don't have.
