Shropshire County Closed and Summer Quiz

Hi All

We are appealing for people to enter the Shropshire Squash & Racket Ball Closed Championships 2023. These take place from Friday 23rd July; matches then taking place over the next two months before the finals at Shrewsbury Squash Club on the 23rd September 2023.

Registrations are now open and will be closed 16th of July 2023 at 10pm, all competitions can be accessed through the sportyHQ website. If you have any Problems with registrations or need more info please text either myself (Max Ball) or Pete Morgans (details below).

Due to time restrictions we will limited to the following categories,
Squash Main Event - Open to all
Squash B Grade - Open to anyone who's NOT played 1st Division Squash ( 22/23 season)
Squash Over 45's - Open to all over the age of 45 (16th July 2023)
Squash Over 55's - Open to all over the age of 55 (16th July 2023)
Squash Over 65's - Open to all over the age of 65 (16th July 23)
Social Squash - Open to all non-team players (22/23 season)
Ladies Main Event - Open to all Ladies
Ladies Over 45's - Open to all Ladies over 45 (16th July 2023)
Ladies Squash Social - Open non-team players (22/23 season)
Racket Ball Main Event - Open to all
Racket Ball Over 55's - Open to all over the age of 55 (16th July 2023)
Racket Ball Social - Open to all non-team players (16th July 2023)

You can enter up to three competitions, as long as you're eligible.
One entry = £5, Two entries = £8, Three entries = £10.
All draws will have plate competitions, so you should all get a minimum of two matches per entry.

All competitions will start on 23rd July and you will have a two week window to play each round, these must be arranged player to player, with contact details being found on the Sporty HQ website. The tournament schedule must be kept to ensure all preliminary rounds are completed ready for the finals on the 23rd of September.
Round 1 - 23rd Jul to 6th Aug
Round 2 - 7th Aug to 20th Aug
Qtr. Finals - 21st Aug to 3rd Sept
Semi Finals - 4th Sept to 17th Sept
Finals - 23rd Sept

SUMMER QUIZ - FRIDAY 14th JULY

Don't forget we are hosting a Summer Quiz at the Squash club on Friday 14th July.
Entries are £7.50 per person with suggested teams of 4-6 players.
Refreshments are included.
