Please find attached the reports from all members of the committee relating to the AGM next Sunday, along with the minutes from last year's AGM. To note that there is no Ladies report as these activities are being integrated in with the Club Captain general membership engagement. There is also no Safeguarding report on the basis that there have thankfully been no incidents, and other than the maintenance and updating of required documentation there is nothing additional to report.
Currently no questions have been submitted for the meeting for either the committee or the Schools, so this could be quite a short meeting! It would be good to get as many members at the meeting as possible to show support, and engagement in the club, especially as there are new representatives from the School at the meeting.
Any questions that are to be addressed on the night should be tabled ahead of the meeting to provide either the Schools, or the Committee (or both) the time to consider them. This is an opportunity for you, the members, to have a say regarding the running of your club.
Additionally, no names have been put forward for Chair. I will Chair the meeting on the night on the basis of no-one stepping forward but will cease to be Chair at the end of the meeting. Ben has suggested that he is willing to arrange and Chair committee meetings in the short term, but along side of his coaching commitments this is not a long tenable long term solution.
I am happy to receive suggestions for a suitable Chair and will make an approach. The couple of suggestions that have been put forward have unfortunately not resulted in any takers. Equally, if you have even a vague interest, please contact me for any additional information or detail around what is involved.
Please take a moment to read the reports - they will not be re-read at the meeting and submit any questions that you might have relating to them.
