Linda Pritchard flies the NATIONAL flag!
Our congratulations – and no doubt yours – to Linda for her call up to the England Ladies O45s team to compete in the Masters Home International Championships 2018, Nottingham 11th & 12th May. She will gain her first cap and will play against teams from Wales, Scotland and Ireland. We are immensely proud and wish her well in the competition and in her search for additional caps! If/ when you see her please offer her your congratulations. Supporters most welcome in Nottingham.

Leagues – March 2018
Last month saw many newbies to the leagues with many leagues of 6. This has now settled and thanks to Tony Burgan on organising this. We still have 18 leagues operating and much to play for in March. Our congrats to Phil Caudle for winning the premier division, will he retain the title or succumb to another challenger? Court News – The future is brighter!
Court 3 will have LED lights installed over the Easter break. Work will take place from Tues 3rd April until Weds 11th April. The aim is to have all courts installed with the ‘bright lights’ by the end of July. A couple of reminders re court usage : a) ‘Guest Fee’ must be paid if playing with a guest and b) Please please please – do NOT touch the heaters! They are on thermostats – so should the Club/Courts get warm enough they will turn them selves off. Unbelievably I have found a number of the court heaters switched off on arrival in the morning! Please leave them alone!

Busy March
March sees the culmination of team squash/ racketball matches as well as the start of the coaching with new pro, Ali Jafari. It will seem very busy when you look at the booking sheets, please be patient as normal service should be resumed from April onwards. Get those league matches booked early!

Bar – Access and Offers!
For those that would like key access to the bar please arrange via Max Ball (07859123417) . Note ‘Perlenbacher lager’ is still only £1.90 per bottle and we have some additional ales, wine, and Pino, iso sugar free on the updated bar list. We also have Kingsland branded shirts on sale for only 5 pound to reduce the old stock.
