Additional court time for members
From Monday May 7th until September members will be able to book courts throughout the day with no restrictions.
This free’s up considerable court access for those looking for a late afternoon/ early eve court

Club V Club Matches
There are a number of club V club matches coming up so watch for the events on the website site. First is a Wales V England special on the 26th with details on the link below

Group Coaching - Saturday 5th May - with Ali Jafari

Following the success of the Group Training and Coaching Ali has arranged another session on Saturday 5th May.

Group Standards will be:

Shropshire Division 3 Team Level - 2pm to 3.20pm

Shropshire Division 2 Team Level - 3.30pm to 4.50pm

Shropshire Division 1 Team Level - 5pm to 6.20pm

Cost is £8pp for 80 minutes! Numbers are limited so 1st Come! - please sign up on the board or email/text Ali direct.

Letters to the Editor
I wanted to pass on my thanks to the many members who sent messages of support following recent events.
To receive so many expressions of kindness and goodwill during difficult and testing circumstances is hugely uplifting and also ultimately life affirming. It demonstrates that the Club, like all good societies, plays an additional and important role as a community and place of belonging. After all some of us as more... errr...senior members have known each other for many years, decades even, perhaps only on the basis of a ten minute chat while getting changed. Even so people did not hesitate in contacting me and it was all very much appreciated.

PS On 9th May Steve Owen and I will be setting off on the Camino Portugese, an up to 240 mile ‘Pilgrims’ walk from Porto to Santiago de Compostella. I stress this is not a fundraising mission and won’t pretend this is anything other than a pleasant hike through the Spanish countryside, but I’d already established a webpage in Carol’s memory on Breast Cancer Care’s site.... http://inmemory.breastcancercare.org.uk/appeal/carol-sherry ....and if anyone wanted to throw in a couple of quid that would be great....
