Shropshire Squash Club has entered a team into the Shropshire Summer league this season and Elaine is looking for keen players to fill the team, which will work on a rolling player basis if there is enough interest.
This is an ideal opportunity for players with no previous team experience to come check out what team squash is all about and meet some new players within the county!
The format is 10 players per team, start time 6.30pm – to enable all games to be played before midnight! – although there is some scope for a few players to turn up slightly later if they can’t make that early start time.
There is an expectation of players to stay for the post-match team meal and beverage with the opposition, also during home matches, it is normally traditional that the player will host their opposition at the bar for at least 1 beverage!
Costs are approx £5-10 for the post-match meal depending on the host club.
