Reminder to Members

Good morning everyone

So 2020 wasn't the year we were expecting and it hasn't ended up much better either. We are very appreciative of every member who has stuck with us and is looking forward to a what will hopefully be a better year.

Whilst we appreciate that everyone is having to adjust with changing rules like tiers, places of work, school's opening and closing, firends and family isolating, xmas plans being changed etc The Sports Facility team and the committee would like to remind members about the following:

Please only play members that are in your squash bubble. If you want to change bubbles then please make the amendments on the bubble sheet which is available on the notice board in the club. Remember if you switch bubbles you need to have a break of play for 7 days between your last game in your old bubble to your first game in your new bubble.

We would also like to remind members that they need to arrive dressed in their squash clothing except for court shoes which need to be changed into when in the building and to also wear a mask when not on court.

If you see anyone at the club not adhering to this then please let them know in a kind & friendly way or inform a member of the sports facilty team or committee. These are the rules we have to adhere to as set by England Squash in order for the club to remain open.

We all want play to continue so please help our club to keep functioning by adhering to these rules. We appreciate it's not an easy time and that rules change but we do our best to keep you updated and informed in order to keep everyone safe.

From everyone at SSC and the Sports Facility team, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Let's hope that 2021 is better for everyone. The only positive I have for squash this year is that I've never stayed in league 5 for so long!

Take care everyone

All the best

Scott
