Actions and Matters Arising

·Water Fountain (AB) - Next 2 weeks
·Ladies Changing Room (AB) – Still pending
· ‘Honors Board’ (AB) – Gaining prices from Phil Caudle and Richard Allison
·Bar redecoration (AL) – Commenced and looking good
·Club Shop (DA) – Television needs to move first
·TV Monitor and fitting (AB/AL) – Andrew to enquire about plate being fitted to wall to avoid drilling into wires at front
·Lectern (AB) – Purchased and looking great. AB to email pages to authors re content

Finance Report (AB):
·Finance Report – All on target
·Previous report – No action
·Action : Everyone to empty notes in till and leave in safe
·

Women’s Events (TWP):

·Update – Prosecco Evenings going well. Next one planned and 14 women already booked. Kicks off around 6.45. Funding is available until end of August. After that then if alternative funding not accessed will become self-funding. All agreed safe place for women to experience squash but not yet at point of women’s night.
·Action: Tracey to forward names to Dan for registering
·

Club Captain Report (DA):

·Coaching/Leadership arrangements and spend – Need 8 to run the course. SB and RA having difficulty in attending. Discussion to be held with SB and AL to replace RA.
· “Opponent Wanted” – This is now available on Squash Courts. Action: DA to do bulleting and newsletter item
·Session with the county re teams – Lots of decision regarding Team Squash and Tournament Squash but subject to agreement and voting at AGM. Action: DA to discuss with Captains

Summer Club Team Captain(ER)

·Summer Leagues Inter Club Team Challenge – First match 30th May. Email gone out but little come back. Elaine asked for support in arranging

Head Coach for Juniors Report (BS):

Scheduling of junior summer league - which dates and preferable day of the week – Decision that summer leagues a lot of effort for little return. Action: BS to arrange club challenges in their stead.
Scheduling of junior club champs – Action: BS to arrange last weekend in June, when schools have finished.
Fitness Offer and Report – Report accepted and discussed:

Action: BS to discuss with Ryan about Metafit offer. Subsidised to end of September and then his responsibility. Timings can be moved round with negotiation.

Action Miles to commence squash Conditioning offer asap. BS to arrange

Bar Report (MB):

Summer Leagues – Kicking off on the 28th May at 7pm for 14 weeks. All circulated.
Stocking the bar and cellar – Agreed to bulk buy monthly – target members to support (MB/AB)
Opening and closing sheet for bar - Done

Communication and Events Calendar (SB):

·Any comms or info that people want out urgently are to email me and let me know what they want doing with it.
·For info and agenda next time (Would like to revisit safeguarding but I want to be there for that topic so I’ll leave it until the next meeting).

How do we make this more attractive and well attended and representative?

Action: Free Food and Drink. Need a Headline some thought to this and how it is shaped. ALL

School Works: Action - Agreed to continue to work through Ed in a positive and constructive manner

AoB:

Ben to talk to Miles about deeper involvement and bring back. Action: All to come to Ben about what could be done on the day of junior event to make if more fun.
