A few updates for you:
Court Maintenance
We had planned for the first 2 courts to have work done to them on the 5th October but unfortunately this was not able to happen.
Please be aware that this has now been moved to the 19th and 20th October.
This being the case two of the courts on the Monday night (19th) will be out of use but two will still be open and able to use. The same will take place on Tuesday (20th) in the evening.
During both days all four courts will be blocked out due to the access of the centre and the work going on.
Booking Courts
Please can everyone make sure they are not booking courts to play non members. The only exception to this is when the committee are playing prospective members as part of a taster session and this is done in a COVID secure way. No one else should be booking courts to play non members.
If you notice someone doing this could you please make them aware of the rules as we have had issues where members say they were not aware of the rules as they don't read their emails or the newsletter.
We follow England Squash's guidance on this and if we don't stick to their guidelines, we could lose the privilidge of playing squash. If anyone is unsure of the rules please speak to a member of the committee or check the guidance notes on the walls at the club.
Thanks to everyone who is sticking to the rules and enjoying being back at the club. It's been good to get back to playing and seeing half of your mask covered faces.
